Purpose & Care

    Purpose & Care

“Purpose” and “Care” are two words that have been bouncing around in my head over the past year and a half quite a bit. I feel a deep conviction that everything we do and everything we say should model purpose and care. As a leader and as a church, we can have tremendous purpose and drive, but the effort is for naught if you don’t do it with care and compassion. (Read 1 Corinthians 13.)

The month of June at Hope is filled with purpose and care--check this out:

    • Praise & Prayer night, June 2 at 7 p.m. Let’s come together and Praise our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Let’s pray and thank Him and humbly come before Him as we move forward as a church.
    •
    • Midweek meetings, June 9, 16, 23, and 30 at 2 and 7 p.m. Join us for an interactive study of the book of James. Spur on your walk with the Lord as we head into summer.
    •
    • Picnic time, June 13. Join us right after Sunday Service--get to know some people and, better yet, let people know you! Sign up in the Atrium area starting this Sunday.

    Mask Update

You may be aware that New Jersey changed its mask mandate and released the following:

“Effective May 28, the statewide indoor mask mandate will be lifted. If you are not fully vaccinated, we strongly encourage you to follow the CDC guidance and wear a face mask in any indoor public setting.” NJ.GOV

Please know that whether or not you wear a mask, we are happy to see you at Hope!

On Sunday, we’ll talk about 1 Peter 4: 7 – 5:4. Check it out if you have a minute.

    See you soon!

    Eric

Freedom isn’t free, take a moment this Memorial Day weekend to remember those who made the ultimate sacrifice…

“Our debt to the heroic men and valiant women in the service of our country can never be repaid. They have earned our undying gratitude. America will never forget their sacrifices.”
