Do You Know Who You Are Talking To?
Many of us have heard that line in some form or another. Maybe it is from a movie when one character underestimates the size, strength, or social standing of another. Maybe you have thought that line yourself (in a moment of pride) when you are in a tense conflict.
The line is probably one we should never say -- it’s filled with an attitude that definitely does not reflect the Fruit of the Spirit we just read about in Galatians. Actually, the only one who is really qualified to say the statement doesn’t, our God and King!
We will be starting a three-part series on Sunday called, “God of Wonders.” With this series, I want to challenge all of us with this idea: When it comes to your relationship with God, “Do you know who you are talking to?”
How different would our lives be if we comprehend God with just a little more clarity? How would our day to day lives be affected If we understood God’s power, might, and His love for us? During this series, we will look at God’s Heavenly Creation, God’s Greatest Creation, and God’s Redeeming of His Creation.
Let’s take a fresh look at our God of Wonders!
“When I consider Your heavens, the work of Your fingers, the moon and the stars which You have ordained, What is man that You are mindful of him, And the son of man that You visit him”
Psalm 8: 3 – 4
