Sermon Notes:

1. They gave in response to God’s grace. The more we recognize God’s grace in our lives, the more grateful we become, and the more joyfully we give.

2. They gave beyond their means - of their own accord. They gave as much as they were able, and even beyond their ability - all on their own!

3. They begged earnestly for the favor of giving. We should want for the opportunity to be involved in the lives of God’s people.

4. They gave themselves first to the Lord.Their money was simply an expression of their devotion to the Lord.
